Rose attended University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, and later enrolled at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating in 1993. While at college, he worked for the student-run radio station WMSR as the station manager.

In 2000 he began working at FOX Sports as an on-air host, the position he would hold for the next 12 years. The following year he became a host of “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” on Fox Sports Net, a new television sports show that featured interviews with the acclaimed athletes, coaches, entertainers and various celebrities. It became extremely popular, enabling Rose to earn his first taste of fame. He hosted the show from its start in 2001 until its cancellation in 2009, except for a brief time in 2004 and 2005. Aside from popularity, the show earned him a decent net worth.

Rose’s talents were widely used by Fox – the channel’s BCS coverage was also hosted by Rose from the studio, and from 2004 he was the narrator and fight announcer and of the reality sports series known as “The Next Great Champ”. Then in 2007, he became a play-by-play announcer for the network’s coverage of the NFL. Two years later, he hosted FOX’s pre- and post-game coverage for the 2009 All-Star Game and World Series. From 2009 to 2011 he presented the World Series trophies, and hosted the inaugural season of “The Cheap Seats” during the 2010 Major League Baseball season. His net worth was rising steadily.

Rose also served as the host of the network’s popular poker show, “Million Dollar Challenge” for two seasons in 2009 and 2010 which, being the most watched poker show in the history of television, significantly contributed to his popularity and to his wealth as well.

Rose left FOX in 2012. His 12-year career with the network brought him a great level of popularity in the world of sports, and earned him a sizable net worth.

Meanwhile, in 2010 he started working on the MLB Network. The following year he became a co-host of its daily talk show called “International Talk”, along with Kevin Millar, covering major events in baseball. The show quickly turned into the network’s most popular, greatly improving Rose’s net worth. He has remained on the show ever since.

In the meantime, upon leaving FOX in 2012, he joined the NFL Network as a studio host. Here he has hosted “NFL GameDay Highlights”, “NFL GameDay Final” and the post-game edition of “NFL Total Access”. Rose also serves as a play-by-play commentator for the ABC channel’s competition show “Battlebots”.

When it comes to his personal life, Rose is a married man with two children, but as he tends to keep his personal life away from media, sources have no additional details about it.
